BETA / ACCESS

WoW Forever Beta Reference

The current beta dates, access paths, level cap, and unanswered policies for World of Warcraft: Forever.

STATUS / FIRST-PARTY CHECK

The beta is planned, but not every rule is published.

Current first-party material places the beta start on September 17, 2026 and the launch on November 4. The beta end date conflicts across Blizzard sources, so this guide keeps both dates visible instead of inventing a resolution.

QUICK REFERENCE

The short version

BETA START

September 17, 2026

Confirmed in current Blizzard product and support material.

PLANNED CAP

Level 30

The roadmap describes the beta as playable up to level 30.

END-DATE CONFLICT

Oct. 21 / Oct. 22

Blizzard’s text pages and roadmap image do not match.

GUARANTEED ACCESS

Epic or higher

Epic, Collection, and Collector’s Edition routes are identified in the checked material.

DATES / LIMITS

What the beta announcement actually says

A beta date is useful only when its limits are attached.

September 17 start

The planned opening is September 17, 2026, Pacific Time. Treat the date as a scheduled release point until Blizzard changes it.

Level 30 target

The roadmap gives level 30 as the planned beta cap. It does not publish a complete beta zone, dungeon, class, race, or raid list.

No transfer policy found

The checked Forever sources do not state whether beta characters carry over, copy, or wipe. Keep that decision out of launch planning.

ACCESS / INSTALL

Who can get in

Access benefits and a general sign-up route are different things.

Guaranteed paths

The checked material identifies the Skyborne Epic Pack, WoW: Forever Collection, and physical Collector’s Edition as guaranteed beta routes.

Subscription is separate

A subscription or Game Time is described as the launch-access requirement; an edition adds benefits on top of that access.

Signup remains conditional

Blizzard documents a non-guaranteed signup route, but a live Forever beta form was not independently verified in the checked sources.

  • Platforms, regions, language support, system requirements, and installation instructions still need a dedicated first-party reference.
  • The beta end date should be rechecked when Blizzard updates the product page or support article.
  • Do not promise a character carryover or wipe until Blizzard publishes the policy.

PLAYER QUESTIONS

The useful unknowns

These are the questions worth watching during the beta window.

Content coverage

The current announcement does not say which zones, dungeons, races, classes, or systems are in the level-30 test.

Fresh-start rules

No Forever-specific policy was found for fresh servers, realm structure, character copies, or the final launch reset.

Test feedback

Player reports can reveal what is playable, but this guide will label them as observed or reported until a first-party source confirms the rule.

SOURCE TRAIL

Where these notes came from

We use official material first, then identify community reports and tools separately. A source link is a trail back to the evidence, not an endorsement of every claim on that page.
